Mom: Hey Brady, did you hear the storm last night?  There was lots of loud thunder!

Brady: Um Mom, I was sleeping, so I turned my ears off.  How do you think I hear if I'm asleep and my ears are turned off?

Mom: Oh, right.  That makes sense.
